Zeinab's Niqab
This is a piece inspired by Iranian art, particularly the architecture and mosque designs streaming its cities. I am only familiar through photos and books but the intricate and baroque order to Islam's text and stunning use of colors has not failed to impress me.
The piece itself also includes a sinuous yet grimacing female subject at the foreground. To avoid guilt by revealing to many details I simply say here that this is a piece inspired also by the nascent liberalization for women's rights happening throughout the middle east.
